Katie Broderick is native of Southern New Hampshire and has dedicated her career to improving the lives of those in her community. Katie received graduated, cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and minor degrees in psychology and justice studies. While at the University of New Hampshire she awarded University Honors and gained membership in the Phi Alpha Theta (National History Honors Society) and Pi Gamma Mu (International Social Science Honors Society.
In 2006, she graduated from Suffolk University in Boston with a Juris Doctor. During her time in law school, Katie interned with the U.S Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, and the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office.
Prior joining the firm, Katie has spent the last 11 years zealously advocated for victims of crime as a prosecutor. While at the Hillsborough and Strafford County Attorney’s Offices, Katie prosecuted cases involving attempted murder, negligent homicide, aggravated felonious sexual assault of adult and child victims, first and second degree, armed robbery, home invasion, burglary and felonies domestic violence crimes. Katie has extensive trial and court experience having tired 29 jury trials, and at least 60 bench trials. In addition, Katie was member of Hillsborough County Superior Court-South Adult Drug Court; a program which has received international attention. As a team member, Katie participated in the development of Drug Court policy and procedure, and ensured that the safety interests of the community were sustained while balancing effective responds to reduce recidivism and increase rehabilitation. Additionally, throughout her career Katie has been responsible for trained new attorneys in trial advocacy, pretrial litigation and other general aspects of the legal practice.
Katie is admitted to the New Hampshire State Bar Association, United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, Colorado State Bar Association.
